Find Freedom Beyond Obstacles

A gentle space to explore, express, and embody your true self

Go in to go through

I am a warm and engaged therapist. You sit across from a therapist at the most vulnerable times of your life. You have tried other approaches, and you feel disengaged, or disoriented, not energized, or lost in a transition. I offer you warmth, space and support until it all begins to make sense again. Or, like me, maybe you will experience everything making sense for the first time in therapy.

I am not sure if you have seen a finger trap. It is a weaved fabric or fiber tube. After you place your fingers in either end, it can be a challenge to disengage. The more you try to pull out, the tighter you get. But, if you push your fingers in slightly, it loosens, and you can see your way out.

Similar to that, when we go into our experience, with the presence of another, life begins to open. I offer you that experience in therapy. I enable you a chance to go in to go through.

Often in therapy, a client will welcome their own story, their own experience for the first time. It may be that in childhood, or in current life conditions you were never mirrored for what you experienced. And, as a result, you have never listened to yourself with empathy. In therapy clients can warmly embrace, tenderly hold the difficult parts of their journey. And like the finger puzzle, when you express, experience, go into your story, you find freedom to engage, meaning and connection that you long for.
